Context:
Every parent dreams of a brighter future for their children, irrespective of their financial background. Yet, many struggle to chart the path to success, often attributing it to limited resources and delaying proactive steps until the child attends school. Highlighting the critical role of early physical and mental development is essential, but it alone is insufficient. To truly engage parents, we need a personal touch. A more intimate link that inspires active participation of parents, transitioning from survival to success-driven outcomes, empowering children to thrive.
Purpose:
Harping on this, the ‘Aspirations Card’ was designed to bridge the gap between parents’ aspirations for their children’s success and the program’s goals by fostering emotionally-driven conversations during the IPC sessions. The card features children in various uniforms, motivating parents to envision their children achieving successful careers in aspirational fields. It employs a personal approach, tapping into the emotions and desires parents have for their children. The card serves as a medium for parents to express and share their aspirations openly. By doing so, they connect on a deeper level with the program’s objectives, seeing how it aligns with their own dreams for their children’s success and a better future. This emotional connection paves the way for a mindset shift from merely surviving day-to-day challenges to embracing a success-oriented outlook.
